So I figured while I'm having a hard time starting up my current clothing choices, there is no reason I can't go back in time a little bit. I've decided to recap some of my better outfits from school (not from the t-shirt and yoga pants months). Some stuff is borrowed, some is new, some is mine from a very long time. I just think it's important to get fashion up and rolling here.
This is a picture of my good friend Liz and I from school one night before we went out. Three of us decided to check out this trendy restaurant downtown called Clementine. It's pretty cool and modern. The inside is painted with very abstract art and they have a lot of local shows there. The food is an update of common dishes, like a turkey club or pasta. My outfit here is (I'm the blonde one) swing cardigan-Express, leggings-Old Navy, white top-Forever21, belt-Charlotte Russe, and boots-Madden Girl from Zappos.
Another cute outfit from this year (and probably one of my bolder moments) was when I attended a debate team party with strep throat. Though I was not able to partake in the festivities that night, opting to sitting on a couch drinking water instead, I was able to get dressed up cute and rock some fiery red lipstick! I was really inspired by Liz Lee from My Life as Liz on MTV. My outfit here is (blonde in grey vest) vest- Forever 21, t-shirt- Old Navy, tank (underneath)-Aeropostale, jeans-Hollister, moccasins (not pictured)-Mossimo by Target.
Uploading this picture, I realized it was labeled Aussie. My friend (soon to be boyfriend, then ex boyfriend) on the team brought about a dozen Australian students visiting the United States for Model United Nations to the party with us. Before taking shots, they would chant "Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oy! Oy! Oy!" loudly to get everyone fired up. This is Ogy (pronounced Ahh-gee) after one of the chants drinking.
Finally, here are all the girls of the team hanging out, minus a few people. It turned out to be a pretty good night with some pretty crazy stories! [:
I'm out.
